Today, i had the longest CIP ever in my school life.
9am all the way to 4.30pm, sheer hard work.
However, our class somehow enjoyed the trip.
There were teachers, together helping out with the newspaper collection.
Although we sports class people were amongst the last few groups to leave the "dump site"
We did a great job and no serious complaints.
Since im celebrating my birthday early, it shall be a no-work day for me.
Lets talk about my progress as a softballer
Currently, my batting style is to see the point of release from the pitcher and 100% bat speed.
Simple as that.
No chasing of the ball, wait for the ball to reach and swing hard.
It works well facing a slow pitcher, but not tested against a fast pitcher.
On machine? I'll say around 50 percent success if ur talking abt straight drives, not really good.
Bat speed is the key for me.
Another thing is that, i'll try not to lift my front leg to charge up for a swing too early, whole body must be in relaxed mode until the pitcher is abt to release the ball.
Pls do share ur own batting styles with me.
Still need to improve on my fielding, throw is alright.
But for fielding, one tip is that, your eyes should follow the ball all the way till it lands in the gloves, then execute the play. Ball first, then the play.
'The biggest room in the world is the room for improvement' says my physics teacher.
